Scraper conveyor of XGZ series belongs to continuous transport equipment. It is widely used to transport and distribute various kinds of coal with the standard of different moisture, granularity below 300mm (the granularity below 200mm for XGZ-6 ) in coal preparation plant and production system of coal mine. It also can be used in metallurgy industry, electric power, chemical industry, mine and so on. This kind of conveyor can transport material with certain limited temperature.
Secondly、Function and feature:
The maximum capacity that XGZ can convey is up to 1000t/h. This series of conveyor include 10 specifications. There are 5 types according to the width of conveying trough, from 600mm to 1400mm. In general, XGZ series scraper conveyors are used for horizontal convey. However, it also can be tilted layout. As for the scraper conveyor with round-link chain, its capacity dramatically reduce at large slope. So in coal preparation plant, generally the dip angle is below 5°-6°. In the condition of small capacity, its angle can adjust up to 20°-30°.
There are two types of drive system（NGW-Y and NGW-S-Y），you can choose one. However, the speed reducer’s price for NGW-S type is 30 percent higher than NGW type. So we recommend you to choose NGW-Y type if the place is suitable.
Thirdly、Structure and Operation Principle
First、Structure
Scraper conveyor is made of gearing，chain-drive section, middle trough, adjustable trough, scraper chain, tail part and device for tensioning the chain. The scraper chain is installed on the head wheel and tail wheel. Middle trough is installed between the head wheel frame and tail wheel frame. Middle trough is welded by steel plate, lining plate made of cast stone stick to its bottom and inner wall. Heavy load section of the scraper chain is put under the middle trough, and vacant load section is put on the slideway upper the middle trough. Gearing draw scraper chain to move inside the middle trough through head wheel. In the bottom of the middle trough, material move forward along the bottom trough, pushed by scraper blade. At last material are sent out from the discharge opening.
Second、Operating Principle
When the motor of scraper device is switched on , pin coupling will drive the planetary gearbox. Output shaft of the planetary gearbox will make double slider coupling connect the drive shaft of head wheelset, chain wheel is fasten on drive shaft by using bolt. The movement of chain wheel will drive the scraper blade.
